Result description
The successful monitoring system integration carried out in GKN and ASL demonstrates that a transition of photonics and ICT technologies from laboratory applications to fully operative industrial environments is possible. In addition, it has been validated that the monitoring system developed by IRIS is versatile and truly customizable as for the hardware required as well as for the software capabilities and communications. Also, our PAT-based monitoring system comprises a flexible and scalable data management platform which allows the control, and management of data gathered from different PLCs. The new functionality of real-time product efficiency monitoring has been extended within the SUPREME project, keeping the same software.
