Mentoring for product development that may include: a) market analysis, b) value proposition, c) scale-up and solution replication. Funding for futher development, in the direction of process automation, customization and replicability.

The technologies of Policymator has been tested and evaluated by a significant number of policy makers that have provided a set of reccomendations for futher improvement. The next steps include further development to adress these reccomendations as well as work on improvement towards the automation of processes and customization capabilities of the platform.

Our plan is to offer Policymator in 3 layers: a) PaaS (Platform as a Service) modules including middleware and SDK, an abstraction layer of cloud-based data analytics and visualisation functionalities that will allow the creation of customised dashboards that will assist big-data based decision-making, exploiting environmental, economic and social data; b) SaaS (Software as Service) modules including the customised multi-faceted dashboards that will be developed to support decision-making with a focus on specific urban development policies; and c) a set of services accompanying the PaaS and the SaaS modules.

Provide decision-support solutions that can be easily replicated for different city pilots. The processes developed for the different city pilots can be easily replicated to handle policy-making needs of other cities facing similar policy challenges. Several of the independent tools and dashboards developed can also be integrated as part of third-party decision support tools; for example, the environmental dashboards comparing emissions between different modes of transport, visualising water or air quality data as well as measurements from hydrological sensors and flood simulation data; the garden street selector tool; the patrol route recommendation tool; the econometric assessment tool for assessing policy impact at a regional level based on a wide variety of micro and macroeconomic data; the forecasting tools for predicting various variables based on data from similar sites; the dashboards developed for analysing data from Twitter, Facebook, TripAdvisor, GDELT, and web articles.

We have conducted a financial analysis for the next 8 years following project completion starting from 2021. Three financial scenarios were considered i.e. the pessimistic, the middle-of-the-road scenario and the optimistic scenario. In particular, starting with a standard number of licenses to be purchased in the first year (Y1) i.e. 10 licenses for the pessimistic scenario, 100 licenses for the middle-of-the-road scenario and 300 for the optimistic scenario, we considered a constant increase in licences purchasing each year for each scenario i.e. 5.0% for the pessimistic scenario, 20.0 % for the middle-of-the-road scenario and 40.0 %for the optimistic scenario. Based on our analysis, even for the pessimistic scenario the business can reach the break-even point. Based on this analysis, policymator is a promising investment, which in the fifth year of operation (2025) can bring revenues of 477,792 € and 2,751,767 € for the middle-on-the-road and optimistic scenarios, respectively.
