Probabilistic Tsunami Forecast (PTF) workflow for HPC based urgent computing

Result description

An improved version of the PTF workflow for HPCbased urgent computing, leveraging the eFlows4HPC workflow stack. This version significantly reduces the size of the ensembles for the quantification of the uncertainty, and implements a prototypal method to update the PTF estimations based on newly available information like focal mechanism estimation or first tsunami data.

Current stage description

We plan to consolidate with further implementations in the project DT-GEO for potential future integration in operational workflow. Potential future integration in Destination Earth.

We also plan to collaborate with key stakeholders, scientific institutions, and scientific projects like DT-GEO, based on knowledge exchange and capacity building, towards the development of this proof of concept into an operational workflow
