Result description
rEUse IT platform supports value chain stakeholders during the search and acquisition of product lifecycle information about different objects, which had been defined “circular entities”. Circular entities can be products, materials, processes and treatments, wastes, or more. The information available for each circular entity is the one the company itself wants to share and can propose: description, informative details, technical details, processes adopted to create it, consultancy services used, etc. rEuse allows companies to get in touch, creating new connections, enabling new value chains, and creating new market opportunities.
The deals which are closed to effective exchanges are tracked and shown into a chart representing the entire eco-system generated through a value-chain representation useful to stakeholders, policy makers and authorities.
Addressing target audiences and expressing needs
- We are sharing our knowledge
- Business partners – SMEs, Entrepreneurs, Large Corporations
- Expanding to more markets /finding new customers
The platform needs two main groups of information and content: on one side many collaborators providing solutions and consultancy, in order to start being effective for customers, on the other side many customers starting providing content and real data to be shared and exchanged. An empty platform will not be effective for the purpose of creating a community of stakeholders.
On the maintenance side, and exploitation strategy, involvement in events, participations in projects, additional funding for a run to exploitation support, is a need which is still open.
New cooperations for near-to-the-market projects are of strong interest.
- Others/ No specific audience
- Other Actors who can help us fulfil our market potential
- Research and Technology Organisations
R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
The solution had been tested internally with the FiberEUse consortium, through a long adoption phase with all the project partners and demo cases. All of them confirmed the maturity of the idea and solution and identified as necessary next step the need of having many actors involved and active providing real and useful data. From the end of the project on, the activities will proceed on one side through bootcamps to show to potential partners and customers how the solution works, and on the other side through the identification of additional funding for the necessary improvements of the IT solution.
Two different business models are actually under evaluation. Both seems to have a relevant economic sustainability, which needs to be checked and confirmed with potential customers in the upcoming bootcamps and conversations.
