OMICRON’s Road Digital Twin digitialises all road assets and relevant aspects of the road asset geometry. This central information point with detailed visualisation of assets makes it ease to manage assets and allows for faster decision making, especially in combination with OMICRON´s Road Decision Support Tool. The purpose of having this highway digital copy is enriching the DST by a comprehensive representation of the road for any OMICRON’s Digital Twin user, eg. infrastructure owners, managers, and construction and civil engineering companies. OMICRON’s Digital Twin is available online, thus eliminating the need to access from a specific device and also the need of having a certain softare installed locally. Furthermore, the Digital Twin has a user-friendly interface to make an easy use regardless the user’s role.
OMICRON’s Road Digital Twin is an innovative system capable of mirroring real road assets in all relevant aspects of the road asset geometry to enable a comprehensive analysis. This Digital Twin (DT) includes updated information regarding the state of the infrastructure, and it is a key enabler of the management of road interventions. It is a scalable solution. The Digital Twin provides 2D and 3D viewers for the inspection management, and a comprehensive overview at the inspection results.
