An innovative platform for focused ultrasound non-invasive surgery is ready to be used in clinics and veterinary clinics.
The Futura platform is ready to be used in clinics and veterinary clinics for treating several pathologies (e.g. cancer). In the meantime a spin-off company (River Global Scientific Lab) has been established to exploit the results of the research. The aim of the company is to design and develop innovative solutions (hardware/software) in the field of therapeutic ultrasound, in order to improve the current procedures in terms of efficacy, safety, reliability and acceptability, and enable new applications, thereby extending the potential number of consumers.
