Result description
The Smart IoT façade module provides real-time measurement of façade outdoor conditions (solar radiation and illuminance) and provides optimized control of solar gains in the function of energy consumption and thermal comfort. The main functionalities of the module are that there is one integrated IoT modular multi-sensing solution and it is possible to integrate it between standard user behavior and automatized features. There is the possibility to target every type of building without the requirement of centralized building control or SCADA. The module contributes to local comfort based on indoor and outdoor conditions and allows for minimum energy consumption. The solution achieved a TRL of 7/8 at the end of the project. The main barrier for the result could be the integration with existing technical systems.
