ARXAX Connect was a project focused on creating a data-driven fintech infrastructure to support the transition of heavy-duty transport and last-mile delivery fleets toward cleaner fuels. It developed connected systems of telematics and real-time refuelling for managing and optimising refuelling and recharging along major European transport corridors. The goal was to make the shift to zero- and low-carbon fuels faster, easer and more affordable for logistics operators and fleet managers.
The project validated the business case for a digitally connected network of alternative refuelling assets for heavy-duty vehicles and last-mile delivery fleets along key European corridors. It developed and tested the concept of integrating telematics data and real-time refuelling data to enable a faster, easer and more affordable transition to zero and low-carbon fuels. As a result, the initiative laid the groundwork for scalable, data-driven fintech infrastructure for green refuelling in road transport, moving the sector closer to meeting emission-reduction goals.

Arxax is advancing from R&D to large-scale demonstration, integrating its smart refuelling and recharging platform with telematics and station infrastructure. We seek funding from private investors and funding institutions to expand beyond Italy and DACH region and make our solution available across main transportation corridors in Europe.
Our solution is scalable because it’s designed as a cloud-based, modular platform that can easily handle growing numbers of users, vehicles, and refuelling points without major changes to the core system. We leverage automation, real-time data, and interoperable technologies to expand efficiently across regions and partners. This means we can replicate our model quickly, connect new fuel providers seamlessly, and support fleets of any size as the demand for cleaner transport continues to rise. On the business model side, Arxax operates a high-volume, cash-generating B2B fuel resale model. Fuel is a recurring purchase for our logistics clients, and we capture the value through each transaction.
Our solution at Arxax is replicable because it’s built on a flexible, data-driven digital platform that can be adapted to different regions, fuel types, and fleet sizes. We rely on existing infrastructure and open technological standards, which makes integration with new partners and markets straightforward. By combining scalable software with modular connectivity tools, we can quickly extend our model across Europe and beyond, supporting the broader transition to cleaner transport.
Our business model is sustainable in the long term because it aligns environmental impact with economic value. By helping fleets access zero- and low-carbon fuels efficiently, we create cost savings and operational benefits that make green transport financially attractive. At the same time, our platform generates recurring revenue through digital services and network access, allowing us to reinvest in technology and infrastructure while supporting the ongoing transition to cleaner, more sustainable logistics.
