Result description
A fully operational heat pump+heat batteries systems optimised to work with solar arrayss in residential environment have been developed and tested. Systems are currently operating in demo sites. The system can, very efficiently, maximise the self-consumption of renewable energy for the delivery of space heating/cooling and hot water. The deep integration between the key components of the technology has resulted in an unrivalled compact solution to facilitate its installation in a broad range of buildings.

the developed system is being trialled in multiple demonstration buildings. Subsystems e.g. the heat pump and heat batteries are being commercialised by Sunamp or partners. The fully integrated solution under test os being exploited in commercial projects. A comemrcial rampup is expected shortly after the end of the project.
modularity has been at the core of the design of the deveoped solution. In the project, solutions at different scales are tested to demonstrate that the proposed solution can work in a wide range of buildings. Each Country is emphasising the need for decarbonising HVAC systems, also throuhg incentives and legislative actions, and we therefore think that the solution can rapidly scale globally.

Yes, we operate in one of the largest market globally – the HVAC. Every single building requires a space heating and/or cooling and hot water system, and our superior technology will access both the new building as well as retrofitting projects. In the ong terms, our own technology will replace ouer own systems that have in the meantime become obsolete or at the end of their life (20-50years).
