The GenB Toolkit for Multipliers provides stakeholders educational resources to promote bioeconomy among youth aged 4-19 in non-formal settings like museums, fairs, and youth centers. Available in over nine European languages, it includes gamified tools like “The Bio Race” board game for ages 9-13, focusing on bio-based production and circularity, and “Escape4Future,” an escape game for 13-19-year-olds with green chemistry challenges. Multimedia resources feature the “What’s Bioeconomy?” animated video, “Bio-Avventure” podcasts for family or informal education, and social media quizzes for teens. Training materials include a 25-hour MOOC, lesson plans, and three age-specific educational packages. Co-created with educators, youth, parents, science centers, and NGOs across Europe, the toolkit uses a hybrid engagement strategy, visual and digital approaches to suit diverse learning preferences and cultural contexts. This participatory methodology ensures scientific accuracy, creativity, and adaptability, making it a compelling resource for sustainability communication that extends beyond formal education and inspires broad societal engagement with bioeconomy principles.
