Together with our partner white ip | Patent & Legal GmbH, we offer a basic Trade Secret Consulting Package: Understand the essentials of protecting your company’s sensitive information within a 30-45 minutes presentation that gives overview about what is a trade secret, how to protect it and about legal requirements, followed by a Q&A session to address your specific concerns.

Learn about:

• What is a business secret and how to identify it.
• Legal requirements and employer obligations (according to German Law) to safeguard these secrets and enforce your rights if they are leaked.
• Ways to protect your secrets using intellectual property rights like patents and trademarks

We will also review your employment contracts in advance to ensure they meet the legal requirements and include all necessary provisions for protection under the Business Secrets Act, providing guidelines and a template for necessary employment contract clauses.

Mode of operation: after purchasing the package, we will contact you for arranging a 60 minutes session with us and White IP.

Deliverables:

• 60 minutes individual consulting session (online via Microsoft Teams) on Trade Secrets including 30-45 min presentation and subsequent Q&A session.
• Quick review and assessment of employment contracts (according to German law)

The consulting is based for German Law and so relevant to companies, who have a place of business in Germany or who plan to open a branch in Germany. Preferred language is German, however, English is possible as well.
