The latest insights from Germany’s publicly funded research landscape are now available on KETMarket. More than 2,000 new project report summaries from national R&D initiatives have been added, covering advanced materials, artificial intelligence, energy systems, biotechnology, and manufacturing innovation. Each summary delivers a structured overview of project objectives, key results, and involved partners, enabling early identification of emerging technologies, collaboration opportunities, and relevant R&D trends. By consolidating thousands of publicly funded research outcomes in one place, the KETMarket Knowledgebase supports informed decision-making, partner discovery, and strategic planning. It also provides transparency into Germany’s innovation priorities and the direction of national research activities. KETMarket brings knowledge, networking, and funding opportunities together in a single searchable platform, strengthening access to Europe’s innovation ecosystem.
We were pleased to take part in the recent IPI Conference, a leading forum for industrial printing solutions spanning packaging, bioprinting, and printed electronics. With 59 high-quality presentations, the conference offered valuable insights into materials, processes, and applications, highlighting the accelerating adoption of digital printing across industries. Our CEO, Dr. John Fahlteich, shared practical guidance on successful technology commercialization, emphasizing validation, IP strategy, regulatory alignment, and financing. He also invited collaboration in bioprinting, advanced functional materials, and circular technologies. We thank ESMA for an excellent event and look forward to continued exchange with the industrial printing community.
Since July 2025, Fraunhofer IAP has been an Advanced Member of KETMarket, bringing leading expertise in sustainable polymers and circular plastics. An active partner in the Fraunhofer Circular Plastics Economy cluster (CCPE), the institute excels in polymer R&D. Its work ranges from synthesizing and scaling bioplastics like PBS to pilot batches of around 100 kg. At its Schwarzheide technology center, Fraunhofer IAP provides flexible thermoplastic processing facilities (extrusion, film blowing, blow molding, thermoforming, 3D printing) with processing throughputs from 1–20 kg/h for innovative sustainable materials. The team is also pioneering PFAS-free ion-conductive membranes for electrolyzers and fuel cells – durable, heat-resistant alternatives that use reduced precious metals to replace current PFAS-based membranes. This membership promises new collaborations, driving technology transfer and innovation in the circular plastics economy.
