The European Affordable Housing consortium's culminating event, held on 21 February at the Committee of the Regions, engaged EU policymakers and stakeholders from the Local Industrial Partnership.

The event showcased project achievements, including three innovative renovation blueprints, support for 22 districts across Europe, and recognition for exemplary efforts in social housing and SME support. Commissioner Kadri Simson delivered a welcome message via video.

Following the event, participants embarked on a study visit led by The Housing Company of Brussels-Capital Region, witnessing transformative projects converting industrial spaces into modern, energy-efficient housing. SHAPE-EU aims to spearhead inclusive renovation strategies under the European Renovation Wave and New European Bauhaus initiatives.
